Sermon Questions and My Monument Manuscript.Posted: October 7, 2013
I have decided to cross over.
I have decided to live a life that needs miracles. God has asked me to do the impossible. And so I will need His miraculous intervention to make a way where there is no way for me.
I have decided to live a life that prepares for miracles. I will do my part. I will take the necessary steps. I will step forward in faith believing God will always make a way where there is no way for me.
I have decided to live a life that memorializes miracles. I will regularly remember what God has miraculously done for me. I will testify to others of the goodness and power of God—that He can make a way where there is no way for them just as He has for me.
On this day__________________________
I have decided to leave behind a life of fear,
I have decided to cross over to a life of faith.
Questions for Contemplation
Needing A Miracle. Can you remember a time when you needed a miracle? Can you remember a time when God led you to a dead end? What miracle do you need today? What dead end are you facing right now?
Preparing for A Miracle. Can you remember a time when God worked a miracle for you? Were you expecting it? Were you preparing for it? Were you stepping into the water in anticipation of the waters parting? How about right now? What miracle are you expecting? What steps are you taking now in anticipation of God working?
Memorializing the Miracle. Do you regularly tell your miracle stories (the times God worked miracles for you)? When? Where? To whom? Look back at your prayer journal to jog your memory.
